A large and extremely scarce dinosaur feather in amber. Exceptional detail throughout this specimen. This was a time when feathered dinosaurs outnumbered avians. This specimen shows a very clear view of the feathers veins.
Found in in the amber mines of Kachin, Myanmar. Cretaceous in age, circa 100 million years old.
