Purchased on the 5th May 1960 from William Clayton Limited, 38 Bury Street, St. James's, London, SW1. Receipt read as follows:
'One very fine small imperial famille verte bowl decorated with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl, K'ang Hsi seal mark and period, special price, £95--'.
Condition report: This bowl has been examined under natural and UV light and found to be in perfect condition. There is no evidence of damage, repair or restoration.
